Just a note, most of these made in China power supplies, etc are not UL certified. There's always that safety factor. Cheaper doesn't mean better.

This is nice if you have an outlet behind your bed and you want ports your can plug your phone charger into, or add ports to a desk. Some people don't want an ugly power strip in view.
