I've used EBLs before and didn't have issues. Maybe someone got a bad batch.

These batteries are pain. I have spent more time charging them than using them. They self discharge v fast. They can start charging again with no use even after 30 min of full charge. I did get...

I also bought these batteries before and 2 out of 16 completely died within 6 months. Definitely try to stick with eneloops if possible.

I would not personally use this charger. Look at the specs: 1-4pcs AAA 1100mAh: 0.7-1 hours 1-4pcs AA 2300mAh: 1.2-1.5 hours Claims up to 2000mA. That seems to imply it might charge an...

Got them for Xbox controllers and they work great. Got 16 2300mhz AA batteries and the 8 bay charger for $29 a few months ago with no issues.

I gave this brand a go. Lasted about two or three years then all of them failed. I’ll only buy Japanese batteries from here on out. Just about all of my Eneloops from 10 years ago are still going

Lot of people trashing ebl; these are good strong batteries. Better than Amazon rechargeable 👍

If someone had access to Costco, a better buy is when they have that eneloop pack that includes this charger. I have it, it’s ok but I wouldn’t spend much on it. It’s pretty slow, even by my...

I've had nothing but good luck in medium to high-ish drain devices. In something like a kitchen scale, though, they die real fast. Food for thought.

I've owned EBLs for several years now and they work great for me. I even use their lithium batteries in my security cameras and flashlights. I have AAAs in motion sensing stair lights and only charge...

I've got 10s of EBL, Amazon basics and Panasonic. EBL and Amazon Basics are certainly not as good as Panasonic in retaining charge in storage. But they are useful in that they hold more charge(EBL...

I heard that EBL batteries are hit or miss. Is the charger that terrible as some fellow SDers describe? My Lacrosse charger can only handle 4 batteries at a time. I've always wanted to have a...

Haven't been too impressed with the 2300s personally. Even in a simple led lightbox it seemed to run out of power quicker than I'd expect. Trying the 2800s soon.

Yeah, it’s usually not over 500 mah for me on the lacrosse. Sometimes 200 mah overnight on the aaa if I’m not in a hurry. I don’t know anything specifically about these batteries, but I’ve never...

Ikea is in the process of switching their batteries from those made in Japan (which are great) to those made in China (which are unlikely to be as good). If Ikea near you has their LADDA batteries I...

I wouldn’t put anything good on this charger. Lol. If you want to go that route, pick up that cheapie Panasonic in the thread and leave them on there. It’s slow but makes no difference if you’re...

I have an EBL charger and it doesn't recognize batteries when they are too far depleted and thus won't charge them. I have to get the Panasonic charger out to charge those batteries.

I haven't had an issue with these. The main issue with most rechargeable is due to people get garbage chargers expecting them to work wonders for batteries

Post #147265384 added 05-14-2021 7:24 PM by diggie in Deal Talk
The main issue with bad rechargeable batteries is high internal resistance which bleeds power and makes them hotter, which also kills them in fewer cycles.
