Replaced mine with the VR as soon as I got the Quest 2, but I didnt really mind the stock face cushion, just didnt like the idea of sweating into cloth. Maybe the silicone cover will make it better...

My wife did too, it was like rope burn all across her face. I thought it was strange and maybe just her since I had no issues. Glad they are finally fixing this issue.
