Im already gold delta and gold amex.. presume id have to do upgrade and not get the full points etc for new platinum customer?
I just signed up for the platinum only because of the 150k bonus points. platinum is the way to go if you travel a lot (and book directly with hotels/airlines) otherwise I'd say stick with the gold....

Buy southwest tickets >$100. If you want a ticket that’s over $100, buy one that’s under then flight change to the more expensive ticket (each transaction needs to be under $100)
