They should put a disclaimer that they ship with DHL, almost nobody ships with DHL for good reason, I'd have paid and extra $10 and had my shoes by now if they just mailed them with regular USPS.

Take the soles out and put a low-show or ankle sock around them (sock opening on bottom), put them back in the shoe, and now you can wear them without socks. The sock on the sole will absorb moisture...
