Gotta love the 20 points for a dip cup. My Domino's practically begs me to take some when I get my pizza .

Yes, I usually would buy a second pizza or breaded bowl pasta to reach the over $10. But would prefer to only buy one pizza (medium 6.99) and maybe some bread bites (3.99).

Completely agree! There have been several times in the past that I really just wanted 1 pizza but had to change my order around to make it past the $10 threshold to get the points. And for those...

But what's the point of multiple smaller orders when they award just 10 points max per day irrespective of the number of orders or spend. Was there a loophole v missed?

Don't overthink it - redeem 60 points for the medium pizza, pay $1.50 to upgrade to pan.
