Good price. 4Qt is a smidge on the smaller side depending on how you're using it. However I must say 4qt is a good size for making bread in. Holds round loaves well.

They have different handles on the lid and dutch oven, with metal inlays. If you go to lodges website they have a clear divide on the product lines.

Go with the 5.5 qt, it'll get used more due to bigger size. I use mine a lot for jambalaya, soups, stews, etc.
