A lot of data points online actually suggest that “lifetime” for Amex is 7 years. Also on occasion (not this promo) they do no lifetime language offers with reduced bonuses.

Got this last year for SUB and I think it’s worth it to keep even with the annual fee. The checked bag benefit will pay for itself in a couple flights. It applies to everyone on your ticket as well.

I don't know where on the churning subreddit you checked, but every data point from the last 3 years says neither Chase nor Citi pull all 3. Capital One is the only major issuer that pulls all 3.
