I'm not aware of any other domains affected so someone on the Slickdeals side must have messed up the name registration.

If the VPN provider is using opendns, which many do, they are using a cached entry and haven't removed it

major DNS providers usually have a semi-hidden "flush" tool page that might help ie. cloudflare https://one.one.one.one/purge-cache/ google https://dns.google/cache

very few DNS servers around the world are reporting the proper DNS for slickdeals.net I'm getting failures from 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 (should respond 104.17.125.18)
