I was trying to buy a $5 gc in store and paying with the app (BoA card linked), but somehow the register would not take it.
So is it confirmed that we could only use the $10 reload to trigger it...

What does "on their app" imply? On who's app because I do not see it on either Bank of America's nor Starbucks' app. Edit: found the 2% but nothing about $5 for me so I'm out.

Just buy a gift card and send it to yourself and then transfer the $5 to the main card or just use that $5 for the purchase...
