I would get a second stick of 8 GB ram to match and check what is running at startup
Right click taskbar -task manager look at the startup tab not much needs to be enabled.

It has a factory installed WD 256GB SSD with plenty of free space on it.
The RAM I ordered for it should arrive today, so hopefully I can get it installed asap and see if that helps.
