I think this is different. This just virtualizes the card number for Google/Apple/Samsung Pay I believe

Just as an update, I used my discover card to reload my amazon gift card balance. And my statement just posted with both the 5% bonus (for amazon) as well as the $25 bonus for using the virtual card.
