Ah, I see. So HDMI-HDMI & DP-HDMI would work. Since the monitor doesn't have DP then DP-DP & HDMI-DP doesn't even apply. It does have DVI though, which I assume either DP or HDMI can adapt to?

Unless you're dealing with 4k or better, gaming refresh rates, or very long cable lengths, you won't really see a difference between DP and HDMI.
