Actual family (spouse) of Prime member here and got the letter. Need to see if spouse sent an invitee invite or a family invite, there was no difference in how it worked until now afaik.

Well for me 35 was already expensive but i was willing to pay to get the benefits together with other friends, now that they are forcing the new one, not thanks i guess they will drop prime members...

So Amazon figured out I was spouse of Prime subscriber, second email announced no change of status. Good on them. It almost sounds like the whole process was conducted by humans.
