I second this. Do not buy GCs shipped to your home. Mailers will be poked and the cards are squeezed out of the hole leaving you with an empty envelope at the door!!

Yes and typically with CC offers it's the total charged amount that matters, not the pretax amount.

In my area, Walmart ships FedEx and FedEx loses/misroutes/steals things. Guess could have held at local FedEx.

I did this and it works on physical gift cards that gets shipped to your home - Do not use PayPal and do not purchase e-gift cards.
