Subscribing to an item doesn't submit any credit card application, unless you opt for some special "payment plan" they offer based on doing so, which you should immediately understand is happening....

Obviously subscription has some connotation that I may/will be eventually billed for something. But, in Hot Deals, many Amazon threads have your check or pick the Subscribe & Save option to stack...
