Phew, thanks for the information. I emailed Southwest about it and, while the answer wasn't great, they told me 25 minutes was standard at some certain airports (including St. Louis). (Repped!)

Personally I would of taken the 3 hour layover, because it gives you time to relax. Don't have to be the first off, be able to find your next gate with ease and maybe enjoy one of their restaurants....
