No, you couldn't leave it outside.. If it snows in your area, it will build up and collapse the whole thing. That is if the wind doesn't blow it apart.

If you saw the "stakes" it comes with, you would understand. Its best if you can bolt it to a deck, but not everyone can do that.

One of the legs broke? Is it at a joint? You could have it fixed. A local exhaust shop might be your best bet, but any seasoned welder should be able to fix it or maybe even make you a new one.
