How would I go about cleaning up power of a USB port. I want to know because on my friend's laptop, the signal's especially noisy (buzzing). And he insists on using a USB DAC for music....

Yea, the source of the interference is also up in contention... It can very well be ground problem, because most laptops don't have a ground pin hmmmm..
