not true. start with 5.335 and try any rounding calculator you like. The answer is 5.34. I think for most people, 5.3345 rounds to 5.33. But IMO 5.34 is a more accurate representation.

If you were rounding to three decimal places then you would round the 4 to a 5. But in this case, the 4 remains as is and you would round down to 5.33.

If you look above, I said long ago that you cannot round and then round again. You can only round once. The reason is that each time you round, you lose some precision. :headbang:

I gave you a solid answer. It's cool if you don't want to admit that your assumption is incorrect. Math answers are not inferred. There are rules that must be followed to solve equations.
