I'm not quite sure how it all works. They scanned the serial number on the outside of the kit box. I don't know if that is the same or different than whats on the receiver itself.

Just a tip. They do not accept photocopies of a receipt. If you are trying to return any to get a price match keep your original receipt. I had scanned mine and they would not do the price match....
