Have these for a few yers now, a coupe of my paintings did fall off after a while, they were near doors that have been slammed a lot so there was a lot of vibrations. But the others are still up.

I use them. As long as you pick the right size and use enough of them, they are pretty strong. I hung all of my pictures with it, but they are also stretched canvas. I don't think this would be good...

I have used these throughout my house and have textured walls and had no problems. We have flat paint as well with no issues of removing paint.
