No but if you are on contract it will be an additional $20/mo so $75 instead of $55. It applies to the $40 data portion, just not sure if it applies before or after the $5 auto/paperless...

Verizon no longer offers phones on 2 year contracts, with very very very few exceptions. Even if you're grandfathered into a plan that used to allow 2 year contracts.
