yessir Well, you really can replace the internal on an Xbox, but it's a pain in the ass as far as cloning/formatting. And you can easily buy a very inexpensive external enclosure to pop this...

Just so you all know, a regular PS4 only supports SATA II speeds (300MB) so even if you got a SATA III drive or a drive that transfers data much faster, it won't matter. But just for the sake of...

I believe it's still on SATA I actually. The PS4 pro is on SATA III, but even on the pro, the SSD doesn't show big gains in loading times. The thing about SSDs is that the weight and value of the SSD...

It is a good deal for 2tb 2.5 drive. Cheaper than regular drive. The 8GB ssd part doesn't have a noticeable different vs a regular per benchmark.

You are correct. The controller is sata 1 but the 5400 rpm drive is sata 2. It does over 100MBps. The sata 1 capped at 150MBps.

Honestly, a 3.5" 7200 can be had for only a few $ more. If I am buying one of these likely it is for a desktop, because in a laptop it would just be a waste of energy.

For an Xbox one your better off buying a USB drive which already has its own enclosure. This drive is perfect for the PS4 though, I just bought about a month ago for $110 so this is a good price.

The Xbox is very flexible. I have a 2tb internal on my s then use a 500gb Samsung pro I had lay around in an enclosure. You can move individual games to the ssd creating you're own tiered storage.

Yes the article I read was wrong. However I think the lx is the previous version that the dx firecuda replaced. Perhaps it's more efficient at tiering hot data so needs less cache.
