I would pick these over the 558s. these headphones are absurdly good for the money. The 598s and AKG 701s are the next step up, but less comfortable in my opinion.

Most people would recommend ATH-M50, but I'd suggest the SHB9850NC for $82, it is NC and BT too. HD280Pro maybe, often around $60, but not comfortable.
