This looks good, but not great. I'm looking for a similarly specced 3rd gen i7. Generally not a door buster. Hoping something else comes up.
This desktop was this same price just a couple weeks ago..

I've wanted to get the 8500 to replace my aging XPS Gen 4.
Is it just me but I still feel like paying $700+ for a desktop is too much? Especially for a Black Friday deal.
I remember some time back Costco had the 8500 with a monitor for $749 I missed out on.

When and how do you go about getting this deal from Dell online? Does it go live at midnight on Thanksgiving night, if so what time zone? Will be picking one up for sure as it appears to be a great deal for those that just need a new system (ie already have their own keyboard, mouse, monitor, and stuff). Sorry for the possible dumb question, have checked the Black Friday FAQ page already. By the way I love your site and have used it the past 5 or 6 years, just have always been a go Black Friday stand out in the cold type of guy at a B&M store (usually BB or Circuit City when they still were around), but a recent unfortunate stroke (I'm getting better) still precludes me from doing that this year.

I'd like to connect 3 monitors to a PC in "extend" mode (distinct, not mirror or duplicate) for work. I am not a gamer and never needed a PC with a discrete video card before, let alone two. From what I read, two video cards would allow 3-monitor configuration as stated above. Is that correct? If so, I just need to stick a second Radeon HD 7570 card into this PC.

Also, is this thing upgradable to two video cards (slot/PSU)? TIA for your reply.

How many slots this board has to upgrade the RAM , sata ports and how big is the power supply..
