whether it's 1.65 or 1.5 is up for debate
http://www.patriotmemo ry.com/prod...184&type =1
Extreme Performance PC3-12800 (1600MHz)
Enhanced Latency (9-9-9-24)
Voltage: 1.5V
Regarding voltage, usually it's pretty common for memory like this to be 1.5v at DDR3-1333 and 1.65v at DDR3-1600 (OC) no? I'm guessing that's what is meant by the "1.5-1.65" range specified on Newegg, though it looks like many reviews complain about barely reaching 1333 at 1.5v or 1600 at 1.65v.
Cannot beat the price for $45 though...

$84.99 w $35 MIR
apply code EMCNANC48 for 15% off
The 16GB will go great in a VM server I am building and my MB allows me to set the voltage, so the wonky voltage issue hopefully won't matter. Under fiddy bucks for 16GB? Yes please.
Don't care about running @ 1600MHz at all, doesn't translate into huge performance gains and speaking as a mobo hardware engineer, it's more trouble than it's worth.
Now I'll just wait for this deal to appear again (probably after this rebate expires) and bring desktop up to a full 32GB from 16GB.

IIRC these XMP @1.65 but the Patriot folks "assure" it will run @1.5 at least in their response on NE
In for 1. I absolutely have no use for 16GB since all I do is play games, but I've never seen this much RAM this cheap and I had a bunch of rebate cards to burn off anyway.
I don't really care if it doesn't do 1600 since my CPU is a Core i3 2130 that isn't capable of anything above 1333 anyway.
Can anyone confirm?
