That stuff was basically fair game when i worked as a carrier. Taking mail going to a valid receipient is illegal, what was going to the bin is kind of a grey area, atleast ethically. Could rack up a lot of 10 of 50 lowes coupons and other good things. The bobs/staples 10 off 10, etc. Also had an endless supply of the moving packets with lowes/hd coupons. Guessing by how much you like the job you're city and or don't have a pom with head up their ass. Ours was a micro managing nitwit. Policies on ordering a whole new set of labels if one address changed on the route in an apartment heavy town, scolding the post masters on confrence calls for hours worked on december mondays after a storm, praising them for the hours on low volume mid week days with good weather, and the list went on.
