The Type-C Port is a full Spec Type C port, supporting 10 Gbps Data, DisplayPort 1.4 and USB Power Delivery. So, Type-C Charging is supported but it comes with a normal Barrel Pin Charger.
DP 1.4 supports 4K@120 Hz, 5K@60 Hz. So, if you buy a Type-C Hub or Dock with DP 1.4 and MST (Multi Stream Protocol) with multiple 4K supported Display Out, you can run two 4K Monitors @ 60 Hz. Example is https://www.amazon.com/QGeeM-Dock...B0823BQ4PK
This is a pretty damn good deal for the specs. 4500u, 512gb ssd, user upgradable RAM and IPS display. It even has a fully functioning USB-C with PD and DP. I would be all over this if I didn't already buy an open box HP Envy X360 with a 4500u. Don't forget about the 5% cashback at Walmart as this quarters Chase Freedom category.8.5.1
It is User upgradable but HP always discourages users to do that. 45% NTSC roughly converts to 60% sRGB.

You don't need to run a Crucial Scan to know how much Ram is supported. The max Ram support is always limited by the Processor used and available Ram slots, for years now. The max size you see in the official Product page is mostly the maximum Ram they are selling the model with, not the max limit.
All the Ryzen 4000H and U series CPUs support 64GB Ram and this Laptop has 2 Ram slots. So, by using 32GB stick, you can go up to 64GB without any issue. For at least last 6 to 7 years, no Laptop manufacturers are known to restrict the max Ram capacity on their Laptops artificially, lower than the capacity supported by the Processor.
It's just hard to tell now a days since hp.com product specs didn't mention max size either and it feels like manufacturers are limiting ram max by soldering ram now to save a buck so that's why I was looking for confirmation. Thanks for the reply and repped

They never limits the maximum Ram Support. I have HP Spectre x360 15 with i7-8565U and MX250 and it has two Ram slots with HP Product spec claiming that to support 16GB max and because HP sells that 16GB as their max from their site. I have updated that to 32GB using two 16GB kit (8565U supports 64GB max) and it is running fine for last 1.5 years.
This is not only HP but Asus, Lenovo and Acer do that as well. I purchased the HP Envy 15 x360 for my brother wih Ryzen 7 4700U and 8GB Ram (4GBx2) and HP Officially states 16GB max. He is now running 32GB 3200 MHz without any issue.
For max Ram support, always check the actual support by the CPU and the available Ram slot. I can tell you with guaranty that if you know these two things, you never need to rely on what Vendors mention in their product page.
Man I have a spectre and this. The screen is a huge difference.. oh well. Just need it for work. Hopefully walmart will price match so I don't have to return it
I just got it today. This thing is a huge piece of crap, regardless of specs. The trackpad, keyboard, and display are all terrible. I think I'm going to return it and begrudgingly get one of the new airs.

However, Gb2908 was referring to 4600H.
