Brickseek showed this as being "clearance" for my local store. It was showing as $299 on the shelf but scanned for $149 at checkout.

I was able to get 2 unit at $149 each for the v7. Display showing $299 but the guys cannot find it in the section where the vacs are. They only have v8 and v10. The manager offered to give the price of v8 for $299. I told him, no the price of v7 is only $149 and I will accept v8 if he will give it for $149. After a few search in the store, I saw 4boxes of v7 sitting on top of the shelves in the back isle. They got surprised with the price of $149 when they scan at the register. I asked the manager, if he can give me $149 for the v8 and he only laugh and scratched his head. Thanks OP.

Curious - they have these in stock online for $299 - if I buy it for $299 and return it to the store will they let me buy it back for $149?

Edit: in case anyone is wondering, the answer is NO. This was a big waste of time and I ended up just buying it online and returning it in store to get my money back. Supposedly they mail them back to the vendor and won't price match in store... tried 2 stores.
