I am not sure why this link was over in Deal Talk thread. It is a great list of focus group sites and survey sites in alphabetical order. It has been archived here on slickdeals. The OP put a lot of work into it. She has passed away this month. I know there is another list on the surveys section by another poster, but I think this one has more on it. I wish a mod could sticky this link over here as it would be very useful. Here is link.

Opion-Outpost/Surveyspot and Quick Rewards are the best way to go if your trying to make a extra buck. Problem with alot of these survey sites is they pay very little most of them and then you have to wait weeks to get creditted and paid. To get ur first 25 dollar cashout on Surveyhead ur expecting 2-3 months minium. Valued Opions take a month or up to 6 weeks to get credited.

how do I get in research.fm I have taken the 3rd party studies but never direct through them.

I think you only get in through third party studies at the moment. If you go to research.fm and try to sign up with your e-mail (well, this is what happened to me) - I get this message:

You can only setup an account if you have taken surveys for research.fm and not from a third-party survey company.

To see if you are setup in our system and to begin creating your account, please enter your email address below.

----

I'm not really sure what that means. How can you have taken surveys from research.fm if you can't sign up with them? I have only taken surveys with them through third-party sites.

How about Elance, guys! I work for Elance for years now. You have a lot to choose from such as blogging, simple research, and data entry jobs. The pay is also good.

I am not aware of any current, legit companies that do this, but your post caught my eye. Here is a heads up about a scam going around for Red Bull advertising on cars. So...this is sort of a PSA about NOT signing up for this one! Smilie
