Price starts at $29,990, $22,500 with current tax credit.

It will be built in Ohio by Foxconn off the MIH platform.

This will probably be a very good flip opportunity.
Reservation cost is $250 for the first, $100 for the second. If you cancel the reservation, Fisker would keep $25 as an administration fee. They did this to reduce fake reservations.

In 2024 there's going to be so much EV competition its not worth betting on a new manufacturer. Even the stuff this year getting in stock by 2024 would be good enough.

The bet is $25. I've looked at everything coming out and nothing comes close to $22,500 in 2024.

The current tax credit is for $7,500 and is valid for the first 200,000 vehicles from a manufacturer. I can't guarantee it will still exist, but the odds are it will only become higher, with the commentary democrats wanted in the initial infrastructure bill.

You are reserving an actual car, before many of the details are revealed. If you wait until more details are revealed, you'll have to wait longer, and the prices will likely go up. They are already set to go up for the Fisker Ocean, their first car, as they have over 45,000 reservations, which has them sold out through 2023.

It's not a scam, at least not exactly. Fisker is a legitimate company but not an especially good one. I'd not be surprised if some PEARs are delivered in 2024, but volume production, if it ever happens, would be much later. Meanwhile, Canoe is facing imminent death, as is Lordstown. Even Rivian and Lucid are struggling, and they have real cash behind them.

Fisker failed the first time around with the Karma. Henrik, the CEO learned a lot from that experience. This time around, Fisker is only handling design, marketing, sales, and letting established automakers engineer and manufacture the cars. Magna is making the Ocean. Magna makes the BMW 5 series, Toyota Supra, and Mercedes G wagon.

The first cars used A123 batteries, and that company went bankrupt. The battery tech was too new then. Battery technology has come a long way. Fisker is using CATL, the largest EV battery maker and has one of the best battery warranties. 10 year, 100,000 miles, 75% degradation.

Website says production begins in 2024.

My prediction: a few low quality models will be produced, vehicle gets horrible reviews, then company files for bankruptcy.

btw, foxconn may build Apple devices, but they do not design them.
