Survey Company Discussion & Review Thread

Hello survey lovers! Here is a thread just for you, to discuss various survey companies. The good, the bad and the ugly! Got a rant about a particular company? Here is your chance to vent. By the same token, got nothing but love for your favorite company? Share it with your fellow SD'ers!

The point of this thread is to help educate our fellow survey takers, both old and new, as to which companies are the most reputable to work with. Please keep in mind, however, that what one person may love about a certain company, another person may not.

This is a thread about opinions, but please be fair and honest in your descriptions. No slandering, no referrals, and no discussion of product tests.

In addition, please keep in mind that there are certain companies that, for certain reasons, do not wish to be discussed on message boards. These companies are listed in the survey forum rules, and may be found here.
https://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?sduid=51048&t=929574
You may also reference these rules for other FAQ's.

In addition, it might be helpful to keep a running tally in the Wiki of various survey companies as they come up for discussion. We can work together as a team to do this! Smilie

Have fun!

Has anyone done surveysavvy and do you have to download their Savvyconnect software client?

I belong to surveysavvy. I have never downloaded anything from them, or any other company for that matter. Survey savvy is OK, but they take forever to credit your account and then another forever to actually send your check.

yea, you dno't have to download it. it's part of a paid thing, where they give you $5 every month. it doesn't honestly slow my cpu that i notice, and the phone it's on is actually a blackberry with no phone service that is only connected to the wifi and just sits at home. sometimes i browse on it.

but yea, they take 35-37 business days, my last 5 cashout requests. it's pretty consistant.

(i use an app called astrid, in my google chrome browser, so that i know who to follow up with, and so i know who is supposed to pay me when)

i don't know if going in and straight up downloading it and adding it will give you those rewards - i think you have to wait to be 'invited' to download their stuff. just like opinion square.

Can anyone give me some feedback for Surveyspot? I was a member back in 2010 and than they closed my account. For some reason it reopened reason I found out was because I got a survey. Back in the days it was pretty good how are they now? Any comparison to any survey like mysurvey, survey savvy? Just by the look of it I was trying to do surveys and all they offered was reward sweepstakes (4 trys and no points I am assuming I am working for free). Also kind of annoying do a mini survey of where I qualify so is surveyspot no good no more? To add I had around $22 bucks when they froze my account (I was also going to cash out) and its back to 0 balance.

SurveySpot is owned by the same company that operates Opinion Outpost. Do you have an account with them? Also, did you call or email anyone at SS to ask about your old account and the missing money? Me personally, I would be very reluctant to do any surveys for a company that had closed my account, took my money, and then *poof* one day decided to give me my account back...but with zero dollars in it.

Thats my concern since OO is the same company basically as SS. I emailed them they said they would check the matter couple of months passed and my account is back. I sent them an email about that see what they respond. Thats my concern with SS I am glad they reopened it because I am probably going to delete it myself. I just wanted to know if SS is any better or its no good.

an update:
Just to add lol so I sent them an email about my account being brought to 0 balance and it shows total points overall and the total points that were redeemed, points arent balanced so they owe and I asked about that concern and my account is frozen again lol.....

For MyOpinionNow, did a survey for 100 MON points and it led to a PT...my question: what is the conversion for the points?

once you reach 2000 points you can get a check for $20.00.
