You've obviously never gotten thermal paste on your fingers if you think it's a good idea to use them to spread it
Love artic. They make some of the best paste. If you are looking for price/performance this is easily king. I used this on Ryzen 5000 and below for AMD, and 10K intel and below. The paste is consistent and within 1c~ different between the competition. Of course if you are concerned about every single degree, by all means go for what makes you happy. For me this paste has done me so much justice. I use them on both air coolers and AIOs builds. I'm currently using cryonaut and although my temp is down 1-2c both idle and load, I did pay a premium - its something to consider. Id happily get this paste anyday tho.
I paid around $5 for a spatula yesterday at Walmart. Using this logic you are getting free thermal paste (whatever that is) to go with your spatula.
Good find op.

Just got that Ryzen 5600 deal from Newegg to replace my 2600. Thought this paste would come in handy.

nay... built over 50 pcs last 2 years. You use what what you have around you. For the most part though, especially when in comes in a syringe, dont even need something to spread if you put the thermal paste dot drop right in the middle of the CPU and then place the cooler down correctly on top to spread it. If not, the line method or x works too.

Seriously? I have been applying thermal paste for 20+ years. A simple sandwich bag lets you apply the paste with a finger and never get it on the finger.
This is not hard. I suspect it will take the average person all of 1 minute to find a substitute around the house if a sandwich bag is not available.
Is this good thermal paste? Absolutely. But the question as to why anybody would spend $5 on a simple plastic spatula was more than valid.
Hell, even somebody who was hellbent on wasting money could walk over to the crafts section and buy 100 popsicle sticks...probably still keeping part of the $5.

Your finger doesn't work or a simple piece of cardboard is too lowly for your godly CPU?
