Keep in mind with this player you need to manually turn on & off DV.
For the price I'm not sure most people will be bothered enough for the price difference.

I texted two people that own this and both don't think that's the case.

That happened to me also and got tired of it. Main reason I switched with no such issues anymore!
Making sure you have the latest update and having to clean the disc every time helped a little.
It seems to be hit and miss though, others say they don't have the issue or at least not as often.
