The licensed Xbox versions have the Xbox logo in the center. The non licensed version (that also works on Switch) has the 8bitdo logo in the center.

Agreed. I cannot stand "thick handle" controllers like this or regular Xbox controllers. The 8bitdo Pro 2 is the perfect size, as are the default PS4 controllers and the old PS2 ones. Hard pass on this one due to the shape.

Edit: as mentioned neither have Gyro. If not using for switch then the Xbox license might be the better choice for Xbox/PC.
Just checked reviews on Amazon, neither of them have gyro support.
