This Dash Cam uses a Novatek 96670 image processor chip and a Sony Stravis IMX355 CMOS Sensor. The Sony IMX355 sensor has a native resolution of 2592 (H) x 1944 (V) pixels, which is less than the 4K UHD resolution of 3840 (H) × 2160 (V). It supports HDR and 12-bit video @ 60fps.

I have this and it works very well. I have it recording 24/7 on a 512GB card, and it has never shut down from overheating. I think it was on sale for $75 when I got it.
It definitely is not. It isn't worth it to even try if that is your need. I have a tiny USB-C card reader that I keep in my truck. If I want the video, I pop the microSD out and put it in the adapter, copy the file to my phone in seconds, and put it back in the camera. I don't mind the extra steps for the speed.
I bought some of the refurbished ones and they work great. This is one of my favorite dash cams. Got one for my kid, wife, and mother. Video came in handy once with a crash in front of me. That's why I bought them all one.

It maybe be a great recorder, but it sure looks like a thief magnet through the windshield.

No, it's not. It is smaller than my palm and very light. I doubt if there is any 4K Dash Cam smaller than this.

Don't think that chip can actually do 4k, these are all scams not true 4k.Mostly upscaled but not bad for the price.

I have the previous model and it sucks for downloading video over the air. It also says it is 4k, but it is not. Hope this one is better on downloading files...

No, my F150 keeps the cigarette lighter on when the key is off, so I am not taking advantage of the park mode.

Been looking for a new dashcam after getting wife a new car and the aukey with obd power didn't work correctly in new car... (Always on even in off mode) ... Must be an obd pin configuration difference in new accord...(it actually forced the car into limp mode so def a conflict) have the USB port power but car is USB c only so need an adapter to use it and the dangling wire setup in a new car is a joke...

Researching this model... Sounds like they don't even have the obd power option and I don't want to tap wiring harness .. anyone have a decent dashcam with features similar to this one that utilizes the obd port power option on a newer car?
