Either way both motherboard choices will support the 14th gen coming out and have PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD support. The LGA1700 B760 Motherboards do have a future advantage in that they have PCIe 5.0 16x slots for 2025 and beyond Video Cards.
My own personal recommendation is to buy the i7 now but don't open it so you can use it as a fallback. Newegg and Amazon are about to go into an early Black Friday price war between now and the 10th because the 14th gen intel K chips come out on Oct 15th. Due to this I would keep an eye out for the 12th gen i9-12900kf to drop to around $240 and the i7-12700kf may go down even further. Another thing to look out for is the i5-13600kf to drop to $240 or less.

Great find. After living with an i7-10700f the past 2 years, I prefer to have integrated graphics next time. Just for the 1gb or so it saves from my GPU ram to drive my monitor when doing renders.
