Yes. I had a tcl tv and replaced it with the 75" hisense tv from Walmart. Both used this soundboard. When you get, hold down the reset on the sound bar for around 10 seconds. Then hold the home button down on the roku remote for around 5 seconds to enter pairing mode.
I hate being that guy but I'd rather have the DTS on a 2.1. The point of Atmos is encapsulating immersive sound from each direction. It requires a 5.1 system as it needs to have upward firing speakers to bounce the sound off the ceiling, or from behind.
Bar Probably has amazing sound and this is a fantastic grab, but not true atmos as an FYI if anyone was looking for something with atmos specifically.
These are trash, and only marginally better, if any, than TV speakers. Save the $50, put it in a "my next soundbar fund" pile, add $5 a week to it and in 3 months buy something worthwhile. This ain't it...
I've had this one for a bit over a year. It's really good. One thing to note that I have a TCL Roku Tv and the setup was seamless, however, I discovered about a 2 months after installation the wi-fi from the soundbar was really messing with the tv. I only use streaming apps and they began to buffer. Plex, Sling, etc, all began to be almost unusable. I even switch internet providers! I then turned off the sound-bar wifi, and it fixed. I connect it to the TV using optical cable, which is slightly worse sound than wifi direct, but the tradeoff is I can actually use the apps. If you have a cable box, this may not be an issue for you.
need help clarifying a question that i think i know the answer to. I have a roku equipped TCL tv but use an amazon fire stick for streaming purposes. can this be used in that form or only if i use the roku capability of the tv? i believe this will work with how i use it but would appreciate others input if they currently utilize it this way as well.

I just bought this one instead of the other one because of the subwoofer. Hooked it up and it works fine. Thanks for the post.

I purchased both and will do a sound test this weekend and return one of them, thanks!
I'm curious to hear your results. I have a Vizio k8 AIO atmos sound bar and it's been impressive.
