Yes. I had a tcl tv and replaced it with the 75" hisense tv from Walmart. Both used this soundboard. When you get, hold down the reset on the sound bar for around 10 seconds. Then hold the home button down on the roku remote for around 5 seconds to enter pairing mode.
need help clarifying a question that i think i know the answer to. I have a roku equipped TCL tv but use an amazon fire stick for streaming purposes. can this be used in that form or only if i use the roku capability of the tv? i believe this will work with how i use it but would appreciate others input if they currently utilize it this way as well.
I believe the Roku OS is requried to connect the soundbar to the TV. You should be able to use external HDMI devices once connected.

Can anyone confirm this? Because I also have a Firestick connected to stream from my NAS and it wouldn't make much sense if it only works through the Roku OS and not other devices connected to the TV

Devices connected through HDMI work fine, I have a CCwGTV connected and sound played through the sound bar just fine. However there is a handshake needed to do the initial setup and that's what requires Roku OS, other TVs don't have the ability to do the pairing and WiFi hand-off to this sound bar so it's of no use to anyone without a Roku TV.

ahh thanks, my TV is a TCL Roku OS TV so guess I'm good there
I'm curious to hear your results. I have a Vizio k8 AIO atmos sound bar and it's been impressive.
Sorry for the delayed response, it's been kinda busy here. I ended up just hooking up the $50 one since the sound was good enough for my wife and I don't have to show her how to operate two remotes when she watches TV. This soundbar will work until they have a better one that operates with a single remote.
A downside with this soundbar bar is that I have reset it everytime to play music via Bluetooth.
These are trash, and only marginally better, if any, than TV speakers. Save the $50, put it in a "my next soundbar fund" pile, add $5 a week to it and in 3 months buy something worthwhile. This ain't it...
That doesn't appear to have HDMI Arc. One of the issues with my current Visio sound bar is that it only has optical (like the one you linked) and thus requires me to separately power it on, and separately adjust the volume using its remote. Very inconvenient. Whereas this one is $50 and works totally seamlessly with the Roku OS.
Thank you! Was hoping they'd come back in stock - bonus with deal price. Got one... sadly delivery is 2 weeks out with a 2 week window. Hope it comes for xmas.
This soundbar is bad. I compared directly to a similarly priced Vizio and it was an insane difference
Eh disagree, I have an arc and a beam shadow on my higher end sets, this is decent for $50 for my basement tv - not sure what you were expecting but it is by no means bad

Yes, but indicates that it CAN connect to a roku sub.
