My crystal ball says you are betting $15-$20 for a chance to win $5. Not a good bet (poor risk vs. reward).
Someone with a crystal ball tell me if it's going to go lower. Last year I waited for it to hit $15, it never did, and I ended up having to pay $35. Frown And since I never learn my lesson and am addicted to finding that perfect slickdeal, I'll do the same thing this year. laugh out loud
Yes, I like H&R Block better. They both get worse as the complexity of the return increases. Turbo tax has a slicker interface. Both are glorified spreadsheets that place data in electronic filing format. Block is way cheaper.

Thanks, OP. Decent price. Not really worth it to me to wait for something lower.

Has anyone used both HrBlock and TurboTax in the recent years? I remember TurboTax being much more friendlier and modern looking. Wondering if HRBlock had caught up.

Thanks, OP! Ordered one.
Earlier today I was regretting not jumping on the H&R Block deal that was posted a few days ago. This is the same price as the H&R block deal except that came with an AV combo which I wouldn't have used.

hrblock sucks on k1 processing, turbotax is better but this is not a normal case. I just find TT much more easier to use. Also, can someone chime in on how HRB handles foreign dividends??

Meh might as well jump on the $19.99 Deluxe+State now rather than wait till the usual offer in January.

The best price for only software last year was $18. This is only 2 bucks more. I waited last year for the price to go down.....it never did and I got burnt. This is a good deal.

This is only 2 bucks more than the lowest price last year for software only. Is it worth the risk to you to save 2 bucks?

Any coupons for just the deluxe? We don't have state taxes here.

Last year I got it for $35, which included a $20 gift card, so $15 for the program. To me, the $20 gift card was the same as cash. In years before that, I often paid $10 or less, so I was thinking $15 was a lot. $20 feels like a 33% price hike, which is huge! Imagine that on a car or house or nvidia stock! But on the other hand, it is $5.
