Etiquette question: When to add a Wiki vs. Comment

New user, posted a couple deals so far, and commented a bit.
Just notice the add Wiki, and had a basic etiquette question.
When should you add a Wiki vs. adding a comment? I'm reluctant to add a wiki unless I have something that might be relevant to almost everyone reading the thread (such as price comparisons vs. competitors, negative or positive reviews on product, etc...), or if I have images that can't be handled in a comment.

The wiki is great because anyone can use it, but that also means that anything you put there could potentially be removed by another member. So if you have anything important to add, you may want to also add it to a comment. I'd recommend posting any questions (that don't have answers) as a comment instead of dropping it into the wiki.
I think that in general, your thought process is correct - the wiki can potentially be more useful when it applies to most people.
I personally like it when people turn the wiki into sort of a FAQ page for longer threads.
