@fungame @hpham you guys are amazing... Thanks..I really need to get that Samsung lite A7 low end slow motion tablet.... I'm actually using n30 now (got it last year $60 new number deal) but now I need an active line in order to hop on A7 tablet deal 😁
I've read that some who've ported their number back out before the 30 days of service had problems with the device unlocking. Perhaps OP cgigate could ring in here. They seem to suggest to get a pin for porting which you can do on the website then port out from days 31-40. I plan on porting 2 numbers back to GV because they are too good to let go.(Sequential prefix and repeating digits for last 4)
Does anyone know if the port out pin ever expires? I am just to get the pin while the phone still active & save it in case for future port out.

Ah, that tablet (Samsung A7 lite) is not slow at all.
My posters (including me) gave information on how to make it faster (I know it won't become Apple iPad speed).
For me, my 1st phone is Razr, after that ordered the Samsung A7L tablet, after that is the iphone 12.
Now when I tried to order another iphone 12, at last step, asked me to go to store...
Did you try ordering using one of the purchased devices?
Not sure if it matters. 2-3 posts of people unable to order were able to after someone suggested it.
I didn't want to risk it since my 2nd order had gotten messed up with porting due to other reasons. So I just ordered it on the 2md phone using browser and the metro data itself.
No, it was a different error message, saying the account info was incorrect and to go back and fix it. Meanwhile Tracfone sent the text that the number was being transferred, at 6:55pm last night and 4:37am this morning. When I requested a new NTP at 8am to try again, Tracfone responds with: We do not have any record in our system with your information.
And this will just be my second phone ever from Metro.
Had similar issues with a tracfone number that was at the end of its year service so I figured I would transfer. I had all the corect account info and it let me get through even entering my cc payment info. Metro process goes through to last step then errors and I get a text from tracfone saying my number is being transferred to a new carrier. This happened 2x and Tracfone reinstated the number 2x. 3rd attempt gave same results, I don't care about the number so just giving up on this and letting it go away...

Thanks. Yes, sounds very similar. My call to the Tracfone portability department was painless, but she told me Metro submitted a 14 digit account number, instead of the full 15 digits, so she advised calling them to resubmit. She did not reinstate the line, but said it is still active on the "billing side" and it still appears to work, even though NTP and BALANCE both return no record in our system. The line expires in 4 days, so like you, I think I might just let it go and take it as a sign that I don't need to purchase another phone.

UPDATE: tried 2nd time different card, Same error. Only thing I can think of is I'm currently traveling abroad..not sure if crappy MetroPCS site detected my Ip somehow reject the payment... May have to retry once back to States.. dang it 😑
I'd jump on the Sammy A15 5g with port-in if it could be unlocked in less than 6 mo for a fair price from a reliable source. Possible?
I got this 3 months ago. It worked on the tmobile network right away. Just had to get a physical sim free from tmobile or pay at the store. I guess this samsung is already on the tmobile network. It will auto unlock in 6 months. Only paid for one month of metro service.
Got it. I am also collecting many phones, but once upon a time I had no idea about this trick and used one phone for a long time since spending $1000 on a phone was not appealing to me.
Now I own many due to Metro and got this one for form factor for $149, including everything (added line).

I hope this won't result in any bans by Metro.
