Edit (3/21): Just dropped to $19.97.

YMMV. The .97 price tag indicates it is clearance markdown from the store manager.

Select Costco Warehouse Stores have this Extreme 50 FT AWG 12/3 SJEOOW extension cord on clearance price now - $29.97 (was $39.99 on sale). See my previous post.

Best flexible extension cord (basically the US Wire brand, made in the USA), SJEOOW. Check photos for details. Has one lighted plug-in end.

If you just want a cheap (lower quality, less flexible) extension cord, this is NOT for you. There are plenty of cheap SJTW cords out there. Select Costco stores carry a two-pack Prime Wire 30 ft SJTW extension cords for $24.99 at my store (see this post posted by SharkStyle).

REFERENCE: https://www.costco.com/warehouse-...ogId=10701

SJEOOW indicates:
SJ - Service Junior rated at 300 VAC
E - Thermoplastic Elastomer
OO - Oil-resistant insulation and outer jacket
W - Weather-resistant for outdoor use

If you're using a privacy extension in your browser, a lot of the domains that SD uses for their affiliate links have problems on their networks (rouge links) and those domains get added to the privacy block list. Sometimes they get removed in 24 hours, sometimes they get removed after weeks.

If you use a privacy extension that warns of every tracking domain, automatically removes tracking/affiliate links out of URLs, etc, you'll see kqzyfj.com blocked all the time.
The husky is an SJTW cable, as noted by OP those are less expensive. The husky is more durable, but less flexible. Also this cable is oil and gasoline resistant.

Saw these at one store last week for $39.97, but only a handful left.
No they aren't. I have the yellow Husky ones and used them this winter in NH. They're not wet noodles but not cement either. Definitely moveable.

yes, a reel, I worded that strangely, thanks. I looked up reviews on YouTube for the
Quick Winder RAP-100 Electric Cord and Reel, and it really looks perfect, thanks.

That's going to be very difficult to find. Just outfitted my garage with reels for air and power. Air was much cheaper (went with Cox reels) and the power reel was close to $400. Couldn't find anything cheaper and I looked for a while. Not saying future sales won't happen, though.

Some people have successfully hacked the air reels to take power cords but that's not something I was willing to do even though I'm very capable. Just wanted something that worked instead of jerry rigging things.

edit- For some reason I put 'automatic' in my head. You won't find automatic reels for that cost as far as I know. A manual reel though, DIY. Bucket and things. YouTube it. I purchased and installed automatic/power reels.
thanks for your reply. See other comments for the Quick Winder RAP-100 Electric Cord and Reel.

helpful, thank you.

I got a 100' 12/3, and I need a sturdy *reel* for it. The ones I've seen cost well over $100. If anyone knows of a *high-quality* good deal for a 100 ft. cord *reel* (edit), please pass it along. ty
Recently bought this one. Very flexible, works great. I noticed it is a SJTW cord, but I'm in Texas, so it will never be used in extreme cold. For $50, it's an excellent 12/3 100' cord.

You'll just need to unplug for the election results.

Since I use as pihole to block tracking etc I just copy the relevant information and open another tab.

Went to a different store on Monday and they still had an entire full pallet of these. Hoping these go down even more.

The one store here that still has an entire pallet of them is down to $19.97 as of Tuesday or Wednesday. Wonder what the odds for $14.97 or even $9.97 are. Costco will never buy these again. Their shoppers are too stupid to know the difference between a cheap cord and a top of the line, truly all weather cord.

Picked up two today at $20. I think they'll be gone before they go lower. They had a whole pallet at $30 that has been there for 3 weeks. Now at $20 1/4 is already gone just today

I agree with you that Costco will never carry these again. Certain Costco stores are testing sites for certain products. Now they will probably just carry the cheap ones. It is very possible for them to drop to $9.97 if only 10 or fewer are left.

Thanks for the heads up. Might swing by that one this weekend. It's not the closest one to me though, might also try other ones if I'm around them instead.

The store I returned my three un-opened/$39.99 sale priced ones to last night suddenly had another half pallet of them marked down to $19.97. Two or three weeks ago, they only had a dozen or so at the $29.97 price. Other store still had an entire pallet Wednesday when they got marked down.
