This is really an awesome price with great tools for a mechanic that doesn't have. The polisher is fantastic, and even the ryobi version (which isn't brushless), is running you at least 100 alone tool only, even more without a type of sale. The right angle impact is also a fantastic tool, stronger than the m12 according to TTC, and also at least $100, more if not on sale. The light is a great led light, the ratchet is definitely awkward and heavy, but definitely usable, and the impact wrench is outdated tech, but more than capable for most backyard mechanics out there. Considering you're spending at least 100 each for the polisher, right angle impact, and full size impact, you're virtually getting 2 free batteries, charger, speaker, ratchet, and work light. If you needed or wanted at least 3 of these tools, and want to get into the kobalt line (which is a great line for diyers for sure) then this is the deal for you.

Thumbs up just for this unique and smart selection of auto DIYer tools.

I know there are a lot of people out there that love to crap on Kobalt, but I've got many tools in the 24V Max line and I've had nothing but an excellent experience with all of them. They're well made, the batteries last forever and charge pretty quickly, and they perform very well. My combo set is from a couple generations ago, but I don't ever feel like I'm lacking for features or power. Granted that's a totally different set of tools than this, but I'm just saying that if I felt like I would get a lot of use out of these, I'd not hesitate at all to snatch this up. If the name or potential quality issues are what's holding you back, I'd say you shouldn't worry.

I am a Ryobi fan and have a ton of their stuff, but this is a really cool compilation of tools for a mechanic. If I was getting started and wasn't in the Ryobi line, this would be hard to pass by. You can always find deals on the standard woodworking type tools. Saw's drills etc. Not so much with the mechanic stuff.

What's this? A kit that actually has tools relevant to my uses? I've never seen this before! The impacts and ratches are not cheap when you piece together your own kit. I'd be all over this if I needed it.

Lowe's is cheaping out. I remember getting the old 6-piece set that had circular saw, multi-tool, work light, impact driver, drill, and reciprocating saw with the same batteries and charger for less than $200..

Been using the Kobalt 24V drill, jigsaw, and the large 1/2" impact for a few years. Zero complaints. Impact has zero issues removing lugnuts. About to buy the Sawzall...

So torn. Already have a ridgid impact wrench and ryobi electric ratchet and radio.

Mainly interested in the polisher and right angle impact wrench for things like brakes where a normal impact wrench often won't fit. For those two things alone it would be $200 plus I'd need batteries and a charger, which would be 110 for 2 4 ah batteries. Not sure the 4ah and 2ah would be enough.

The right angle impact seems to be a win from videos Ive watched. It cranks down way more than its rated 180 ft lb/s.

This is an incredible deal, I bought it and sold the polisher 1 battery and a charger for $120 on FB marketplace. 5 awesome tools and a 4ah batt for $180! The 1/2" impact is $160 tool only.
