1. Get Southwest Performance Business credit card for 80000+5000 points after spending $5000 in 3 months
2. Get one of the personal credit cards to get 50000+1000 points after spending 1000 in 3 months
The above 2 cards will get you 136000 Southwest rapid reward points qualifying you for a companion pass.
The bonus points are posted on the statement date following your spending requirements are met. Therefore, make sure to complete spending requirements and combined $5000 spending ONLY AFTER your December statements so that the points are awarded/posted in January and then the companion pass will be good for 2025-26. If you time it properly you can get the pass effective Jan 4 or 5

If you get one now, those bonus miles will post in 3 months since you need to hit the spend by then. You would need to get both in October for this to work.
