When showing pictures of a shoe, one would assume the vendor would show the soles. Is it grippy or is it slippery buttery smooth?

Judging by a closer look, they have a flat or close to flat rubber outsole. Reviews are ok except few suggested to size down by half and few complained that they are very uncomfortable at the heel.

I second this. Factory quality has taken a significant downturn in quality over the past couple years. Their "Traveler" jeans are paper thin and nothing similar to BR.
