This is a nice pack with many cool features. I also ordered one for the gf in blue as I like mine and the blue is a beautiful color. I really like the non plus adventurer 2.0 pack and the separate laptop compartment is useful for traveling.

Made for the trail and the classroom, our Adventurer Backpack 2.0 is your all-day, everyday companion. It's got lots of storage inside and features a hydration-compatible compartment that's separate from the rest of the pack, meaning condensation won't affect your essentials. Long days on the trail are more comfortable with chest and side cinch straps to help secure your load.

Backpack looks pretty solid.
Anyone find a way around $9.99 shipping charge?
I don't think so. I ordered one for me and one for my gf so it was over the membership limit.
First time I bought this pack I ordered a jacket too so free shipping. I liked it enough at 40$ to purchase the plus model. It's a really solid, useful pack that is a steal at 40$ (imo).
And I enjoy good packs, these are better than the sale price suggests.
Probably ok if you use packing cubes, depends on how light or not you pack. I could probably pack for a few days in here, it'd be longer but i like to bring workout shoes and a jacket. Mostly I've been using it in addition to my normal carry on.
Edit: as personal item size
Or for overnighters, esp if I need my computer. The separate computer compartment is great for my 15" and provides good protection. I'll probably use the plus size with the wider straps and nicer waist belt for short camping trips to replace my old Marine Corps daypack.

I think it has slightly wider shoulder straps plus if you look the waist strap is much more robust on the plus model.
