No, the iPad 9 has a way better processor, a more robust app library, more options for accessories, better performance, and more reliability.
Despite the aging design, I'd go for that at $250 over the A9+.
It just felt glossy and dim to me. I'm going to wait or shell out more for a better product.

I just bought an open box xiaomi pad 6 pro off of eBay for $230 all in. Good seller review, a bit of a dice roll but I'm willing to risk it.
If I had not done that, I would have waited for s8 open box or refurb to come at a bargain. So, going up the ladder.

Realistically, I don't need a device until June. We haven't been part of the Samsung ecosystem until now. Can we hope for another price dip before 1 July, or should I bag this up now?
