To each their own. Sound quality is very subjective. These were released when IEMs weren't very popular like they are today and quality IEMs were expensive (shure 846 and Sennheiser ie800). If you had the AKG 3003 you may like this. If you like deep strong bass and crisp highs, you may like this. I dont listen to my Apple Pros, sony 1000xm5, and Samsung Buds Pro, and prefer this by a mile.

Nice sound, but the way they fit onto/inside your ears are horrid. I don't think I was able to adjust it either. A shame

Really disappointed on tunings of this. Being AKG, I would expect it to be a perfect representation of what harman curve is like, but there are so many iems that are tuned closer to the curve than this. It isn't an overpriced set but tough to choose this out of other choices.

Haven't bought a new pair of iem's in a long time, but this deal made me bite. I'm interested to see how they stack up to my trusty Ultimate Ears Triplefi 10's, which have been my favorites for like 15 years.

Oh, I'm sure they sound different. I've got others that sound different as well that I like. Monster Miles Davis, TF10's, TDK BA200, and a few others. I'm psyched to try out something newer and see how it compares to my others, and having a bluetooth cable is a big plus now that phones don't have headphone jacks anymore šŸ˜­
